Dining
All meals aboard are prepared by local chefs under the guidance of our European management team. Meals are open seating during set meal times no table reservations are accepted. Room service is not available. Guests requiring special diets such as vegetarian, low salt, diabetic or low cholesterol meals must alert Viking River Cruises one month prior to departure and inform the Maitre d’ when on board. The chefs will make reasonable efforts to accommodate these requests.
Age Restrictions
Due to the nature of their cruise itineraries, Viking River Cruises does not maintain facilities or services for children aboard river cruise vessels. On all cruises and cruise journeys, minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied and share a cabin with a parent, legal guardian or other responsible adult over the age of 21. They reserve the right to limit the number of minors under the age of 18 years on board.
Tipping
It is customary to give cruise gratuities, subject to your satisfaction of services rendered. Gratuities on board and on land are not included in your tour price.

The restaurant seats all guests at tables which vary in size, accommodating 6, 8 or 10 guests per table. The dining room is open seating, so you are free to sit where you like, a great way to make new friends. Aquavit Terrace
Aquavit Terrace is a glorious outdoor seating area at the bow of the ship where you can have a casual meal al fresco, meet friends for drinks or read a book, all while enjoying breathtaking views and basking in the fresh air. Located on the Upper Deck.

The bar is lively and inviting - a gathering place for guests to view the scenery, have a drink and catch up on the day with friends. Located on the Upper Deck.

This was my first Viking River Cruise and it exceeded my expectations. I have heard such excellent feedback from friends who have cruised with Viking, that I was concerned I would be disappointed - I was not!
This trip was superb! What a joy it was to be aboard a Viking River Cruise ! The attention given to every detail was excellent . Viking ranks excellent in my opinion and Shannon at Affordable Tours carefully and kindly took care of all our requests.
The river cruise was fantastic. The crew does a great job pampering you everyday and all the excursions were handled excellently by the director. The weather was perfect which I can't take credit for, but made the scenery along the river even more magnificent. I really liked that it was a smaller ship that accommodated only 180 passengers. We met so many more people this way and enjoyed the open seating for dining. I would highly recommend this cruise. Our cruise consultant was very informative and made the arrangements getting ready for the cruise a breeze.
