Viking Herja River Cruises Reviews

I loved everything about this particular River Cruise. The staff, the food, the people on the cruise, the weather and the itinerary included and optional tours. The only negative I have to say was the bathroom shower size. Is was more compact than expected and difficult to maneuver around.

Viking has always beeen above expectations.

We had a great time seeing all the castles and cathedrals on our river cruise from Paris to Zurich.

Viking River Cruises was first class all the way. The staff, food, accommodations, tours, etc. were all great.

Viking may cost a little more, but they offer a complete package that is worry free.

The whole expieeence from beginning to end greatly exceeded my expectations.

We could not have been more pleased with Viking. They genuinely care about their customers and their satisfaction. The Cruise Director was outstanding as well. The room was perfectly fine. It was not large but well organized and extremely comfortable.

For the most part, the trip was wonderful. On my last Viking cruise my cabin was mid ship and was virtually silent. However, the room this trip, was towards the stern. The thrusters when used made the cabin considerably more noisy. I had arranged air with Viking. The outbound flight was wonderful. The flight home was too early. Left at 7 AM which meant we left the ship at 4:15 AM. The Viking staff always went above and beyond and made us feel like valued guests. They make the trip and is the reason I will sail with them again.

only issue was lack of Air conditioning, a compressor was out and all public areas were not cool. Temperatures were in the 80-90's. We would go to meals and not enjoy them due to sweating during the entire meal.
