Best Value and Service on Viking Bragi River Cruises
Our cabin on the Viking Bragi 101 was the worst cabin on the ship. It was located right under the passage way for boarding in reception area. All passengers constantly using this area and the noise was constantly heard in our cabin. At 5 am the crew, located just on the other side of the wall was up and making all kinds of noise for hours. The hotel manager did help us. This cabin and also 100 should never be sold!!!!!
We enjoyed our shipboard credit that we were offered with Affordable Tours.
Trip was great. Food not as good as expected. Maya did a great job booking our trip for us
Viking does a great job!
Excellent trip, one of the top vacations if my life. I thought that the 15 days was a bit long before leaving but it turned out that it wasn\'t long enough. I throughly loved the trip.
I thoroughly enjoyed my Viking River Cruise and recommend it. The scenery, food, and history were all wonderful and I especially enjoyed learning about the culture and history of all of the countries we visited.
This was a fantastic trip. The staff paid attention to detail, the room was maticulously cleaned, the food was prepared to perfection and the tours were well coordinated. The local guides were very knowledgeable.
Our Viking cruise was even better than I anticipated. The entire experience was fantastic and that began with Affordable Tours, I would definitely recommend your company to others.
Completely happy with the service and the value.
Sue and I felt like we were living an experience through the shoes of Maria Teresa as we were treated as royalty. The experience of traveling with the Viking River trip (Danube Waltz) was beyond our expectations and the staff was warm, respectful, and welcoming .....very accommodating. All tour guides were knowledgeable and brought history and culture back to life. We will certainly endorse the trip for our friends and give you an A+ rating. We offer a quick shout out to JOEY who was a great ambassador for your program as he ran everything perfectly on the Bragi Viking ship. We care and thanks to all staff who made our trip one we will never forget. Love and hugs to all. Sue and Bob
The room was smaller than we expected. Did not know that there would be so many stairs. We thought most of the docking would be close to cities, but that was not the case.
I booked the state room 111 It was on the first floor and above some equipment wich caused a consistent knocking noise that prevented me from sleeping. The concierge and hospitality manager visted the room and agreed that it was very disturbing and changed our room. We were lucky that there were some empty state rooms. I have now learned that the best location is from mid ship to the front and the 2nd and 3rd floors. I also booked the excursion in Cologne the German Beer Tour. We found out the day before the excursion that the ship was hosting the only theme night of the cruise on the same evening. It was a German Beer Garden I tried to cancel my excursion but because I booked on line I could not cancel. I think the ship should have advised us when they were advertising the optional tour of this conflict. There were 130 guests on the ship and only 15 had signed up for this tour. We visited 4 beer bars and ate dinner at one. The visits to the beer bars were very rushed because of the ship sailing schedule. It was a disapointing excursion . A few guests told us we should ignore the messages from Viking to sign up for optional tours before the trip . Wait until we start the trip because there is always space available. The Classical concert in Vienna and the Nurenburg visit were very interesting and worth the extra money. We had to change ships because of the water level in the river, the level was too high and the ship could not sail under the smaller bridges in Bavaria the transfer was very well organized.
We chose the Grand European Tour as it provided the most information and sites within the locations we were interested in. The Veranda AA cabin worked out well, it is worth the upgrade. The ship was very clean and all staff attentive to the traveler. Our Program Director provided current information and history along the cruise. Our stateroom was meticulously attended to, the Aquavit Lounge was our favorite spot because of our primary servers. The food was excellent thanks to Executive Chef. Overall superior care and service.
Everything went as promised. The only disappointment was that we thought the food was not up to our expectations. However, this is based on only 1 other cruise we have taken which was with Oceania. All other amenities were excellent.

Everything was just as we expected.
