This was the friendliest staff of all that we have experienced with our various Viking cruises. The Program Director, Jamie, was outstanding.

Viking continues to be very high customer oriented company and provide services that truly match their advertising. "travel in comfort."

Because of low water levels in Elbe, we did not sail as much as we were supposed to and also had to transfer ships in the middle. This was not Viking's fault and they did everything possible to accommodate us. We were also given vouchers toward a future cruise.

As always Viking went over and above expectations! Book it you won't regret it!

The itinerary was changed due to low river water conditions. The operated did a good job substituting venues. Over-all pleased with operator efforts for conditions beyond their control.

Viking needs to better inform their clients of trip changes/alternate plans earlier than 24 hours before departure. Second year in a row this happened. Would not recommend "Elegant Elbe" trip to my friends.

This was our first trip with Viking and it was better than many, but not as good as Tauck. The plus: clean, well designed cabins, schedules kept, hard working, courteous crew, food consistently good. Opportunities: better wine and food pairings, less nickel and diming guests (eg. house wine during cocktail hour not included in package), hotel rooms provided of low desirability (our Hilton room looked out at interior roof, and contract prevented guests earning any points with provider).

Viking is a good operator and they give their all to be good. We think Uniworld has a better, more elegant offering.

Viking never notified us of skipping first port, and busing us to second port due to river level. Great tour director otherwise.
