The Cruise Director provided good communication on the agenda for the day. The Egyptologist that is with the group at all times provided exceptional historic details adding much to the experience. I recommend this tour to those wishing to explore Egypt!

We returned on an AMA river cruise because friends we met years ago on another small river cruise called and suggested we go too on Nile river cruise they booked. As the itinerary was excellent the river boat was below our expectations. The decor was old and dated, food was average at best, and service was spotty. The room or suite we booked was spacious and comfortable, with an updated large bathroom.
